In the olden days when a guy likes a girl, he will first try to talk to his friends. To find out if any of them know her. Then he will move on to her friends. To get her name, find out where she study or work, what's her house telephone number, her house address. After that, he will try his very best to say his first few sentences to her. Maybe a little flirting going on. Next is the communicating step. He will start writing letters. I like to call it love letter ^^ wrote -> sent... then wait for her to receive it and reply. Letters sent and receive would take days and for a reply would take weeks... Finally, letter step done. Moving on to dating step. Guy call girl to meet up at some place nice. Guy reaches there first, then wait for girl...... or vice-versa. A DATE! Later on, they wait for the second date, and the third and the fourth... and so on...
Do you see where I'm going with this general short story? It's about the wait. It's all about the waiting. You wait to get in a relationship with someone. You wait to fall in love. You wait for the one you love to give you answer. You wait for your date to show up. And you did the waiting over and over again without realising it.
Don't you get it yet? We tend to appreciate more when we need to wait more. Still not enough proof? Take the Iphone for example. When the products was first announced, people waited for the launching day. The day before it was launched, they camp out overnight to be the first few in lie to get them. Finally when they got it, they would treasure it like hell. Buy casing to protect it, buy this and that to accessorize it.
You see... when you really want something, you wait for it. And then appreciate it for life when you get it. Don't waste it. Remember the efforts you've put it when you were going after it. (It refers to LOVE PARTNERS) so... WAIT and APPRECIATE~~
